A Great Choice in Park City Real Estate And Land

One of the advantages to living in Park City Utah is the year round recreation. In the summer Park City Utah is a winter playground dressed for warmer weather. Wheeled bobsleds rattle down runways.

Aerial freestyle ski jumpers spring from plastic inclines—twisting, twirling, and pirouetting before splash landing in a swimming pool (this is an activity both young and old adore!) It hardly matters that it isn't the season for parkas or fresh powder. As one quickly discovers in this tidy resort town a half hour's drive from Salt Lake City, some people are so mad about all things alpine that they keep strapping on their boots and bindings even when the snow is gone.

On a sky-blue, sunny afternoon you might stand in ski gear at what has become a Park City Utah landmark: Utah Olympic Park. This was the site of 14 events during the 2002 Winter Games, today Olympic Park is an athletic training ground that doubles as a fantasy camp. Real Olympians come to hone their skills here. Non-Olympians come to try their hand at sports like bobsled and luge, sports which before they only dreamed of ever participating in.

Of the many things you might try Freestyle 101, an introductory class in aerial ski jumping that the park holds six days a week, is only one. Professionally trained instructors inspire admiration and the class includes members that are novice as well as more seasoned athletes.

The ramp is made of artificial grass. At the end of the ramp is a training pool to catch your momentum. Park City Utah in the summer months is all about taking part. Wherever you go, things to take part in here—horses and hot air balloons, merry-go-rounds and mountain bikes. One of the most appealing facets of Park City Utah is the 300 miles of cycling trails.

One of the best aspects of ski resort in the summer is a ride on the ski lift! At Park City Utah Mountain Resort, you can ease toward the summit on a six-person chairlift as the sun gently kisses your checks. At a midmountain station, you many opt to be carried back down on an exhilarating ZipRider, a rig that works like a ski lift in reverse, only speedier. Dangling from a cable, you’ll soar through the treetops like a flying squirrel.

Once at the bottom you can enjoy a quiet evening on Main Street, a historic district of gift shops and upscale dining. If you’re still up for some excitement later in the evening you can again visit downtown, which has some of the best nightclubs in the area.

If your interest is peaked and you want to find out more about living in Park City, research Park city real estate and land and you will find that being a part of this active, thriving community is a realistic aspiration and closer to reality than you might have thought!
